ECORACE is the new range of ecological competition 4X4 tyres from INSA TURBO, constructed with the latest side wall impact technology NANOTECH. ECORACE tyres are available in 3 different compounds (STANDARD, SOFT and SUPER-SOFT), to adapt to all terrain and weather conditions. These environmentally friendly recycled competition tyres have been developed by the R+D department of INSA TURBO and tested by our sponsored pilots. The tyres already have been used for the first time at Goodwood Festival of Speed (2016), on the specially constructed OFF Road Activity Field Display course.

The mechanical grip of a competition car is based on how much traction the tyres generates in contact with the track.
Our Regular compound is the harder option. It generates lower traction and therefore less speed as compared to soft and softer compounds. However, it takes longer time to degrade, and this means that the tyres are more durable.

INSA TURBO’s soft compound offers enhanced characteristics when compared to the regular compound. The hardness of the compound is reduced by 14%. The result is an improvement in rubber flexibility (+23%). The lower rigidity results in a better grip to the ground (+33%). At the same time, the durability is not affected.
With these features the performance of the tyre is optimized. This means that soft compound tyres are suitable for off-road competition.
This is INSA TURBO’s second softest compound in the Ecorace range. The softness of the rubber compound provides an unbelievable off-road grip, suitable for off-road competitions where a maximum mechanical grip is needed. It provides a great performance.
The rubber hardness is reduced by an extra 18%, whereas the flexibility is improved an extra 26% and the grip by a 35%.
